Mexican wood lacquerware. Hand carved, hand painted 11" round plaque. Purchased in Patzcuaro in the state of Michoacan, Mexico, 1986. Dark stained lacquer on back and front with gently fluted carving on edges. Two carrying holes carved in sides. Simple floral painting is primarily in gold, some silver. Unsigned. Item #110
